Woah the avatar. Wasn't expecting that.
RIP and all, but I was kind of wondering when he'd go. He's been old for quite a while now.

Well it did keep him going for a very long time, so there's hope for all of us. RIP, Mr Borgnine

haha well yeah, that would have been a weird post for me to make in a eulogy thread if i hadn't been referencing that interview
also i think i'm most familiar with borgnine's acting only from the simpsons and the poseidon adventure (
). gonna seek out emperor of the north
edit: oh and he has a part in run for cover, which i keep almost watching

i swear i'm going to watch marty one of these days. i just always bump it down my queue
sad to see him go because even though he was senile, he seemed to be having a great time with life still. he was always so exuberant in interviews. did anyone catch his last snl appearance? it was during a "what's up with that" skit and you could tell he had no idea what the joke was or why he was there, but he still looked so fucking happy. to live to 95 is amazing, but it is still sad to see someone who seems so happy to be alive pass away.
edit: sorry @
Magnum , i didn't read the thread before posting.

Borgnine's been in tons of good supporting roles over the years. Johnny Guitar, Bad Day at Black Rock, and The Wild Bunch come highly recommended.
can't wait to see Emperor of the North Pole and the other films he made with Lee Marvin.
