I don't know of any others, but what I don't know could fill...you get the idea.

I'm actually in Oregon now, but I went to Whittier College, so I know Santa Fe Springs well...hearing those town names sent me on the wayback machine...thanks!

Ah, what an eclectic top 10 this will be.

1) Seven Mary Three (newer stuff especially)--They've come a long way from their grunge-ish beginnings.
2) Everclear
3) Badly Drawn Boy
4) David Bowie
5) GWAR (Yes, that's some nasty metal. Shut the hell up.)
6) Oingo Boingo (Yes, that's some 80's pop. Shut the hell up.)
7) John Williams (Yes that's some film score. Shut the hell up.)
8) Danny Elfman (See note in #7, re: shutting the hell up.)
9) Angelo Badalamenti (Same as the last two. Nootch.)
10) Mozart (Same as notes 5-10, except replace the genre with "classical" and replace "hell" with "fuck".)

Looking at my top ten list makes me feel like my life is wasted. All this time trying to be "cool" and most of the CDs I have are performed by an orchestra. Time to get out the pistol and put me out of my misery.

I've actually been on a CD collecting kick for the last year or two. I've got a couple of good local shops that sell used music for good prices, so I've amassed quite a collection already (and discovered some kickass music).

Some albums I've been listening to in heavy rotation lately:

Led Zeppelin III
Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti
Black Sabbath - Sabotage
Megadeth - Rust in Peace
Inside Out Soundtrack

I've really been getting into Zeppelin recently. I never listened to them at all until a couple years ago and now I have all their studio albums except for In Through the Out Door. Really good stuff.

Also discovered a pretty cool progressive metal band from Maryland called Periphery. Very successful CD store blind-buy
