i have no idea what goes into making a video game, but like, building the world has to be the hardest part, right? why don't they release new games set in the same, already constructed, places in between "major" releases? los santos is certainly big enough that they could do way more there, right? especially since they already went to the trouble of updating it for the next gen systems

i dunno, am i alone on this? would most people not want to play a whole new game in the same setting? i'd buy that shit day 1

That's basically what they did with Lost & Damned and Gay Tony for GTA IV, but they scrapped their plans for story DLC with GTA V because GTA online was making them absurd money.

Gotta say the 360 version runs like absolute shit (I drive so fast I drive on nothing and hit nothing most of the game) so I'm gonna end up buying this again as well.. Not sure if my achievements carry over on Xbox One?

my 360 barely work anymore. i have a piece of shit original white one that breaks down like crazy. i dont see too much of a difference between versions besides slight graphical enhancement and a sloppy first person mode

In general it's just so slow on 360 compared to the rereleases that I can justify repurchasing for performance sake. My system could just be old too but it seems to run other games ok if not slow to load apps and junk. I just am not sure I wanna bail on Xbox and get it on PS4 when we pay it off. Like I mentioned, I care 'bout my 'chievements too much.

lego city undercover guys...open world gameplay, much more fun. just an idea.

broke a couple of toes. was helping a neighbor carry in a 6 foot long piece of granite. I quickly learned that I am just not as strong as I used to be. that said he dropped his end which caused me to lose my grip---and splat. nothing I can do aside from let them heal.

how was everyone's halloween?

I just realized I had a jar of Trader Joe's pumpkin butter in the cupboard but still haven't tried. But my mom just came home with TJ Cookies & Cream cookie butter so it'll probably never get opened.

Happens to me w/ every GTA game honestly just by design of how the maps load. However, it has never been this bad to the point of affecting actual performance. Even clearing the cache doesn't really do much for the performance like it does with, say, Skyrim.

It's neat yea but it's a different style of game so ya know.

Still got a lot of candy and junks to eat from Halloween. Funny thing, I was so busy taking Amy out to see her usual kiddie clown play session and then trick or treating the rest of the evening that I never made a box of Halloween cupcakes I had. I need to do that tonight.

I never had any issues like that with GTA V on PS3. Driving so fast that you're kind of ahead of the map being generated was some shit that would happen in the PS2 era GTA games for me.

oh hell yeah.

i used to get those all the time while drunk when i was in college. i used to get the spicey one, tho.

it used to gross a lot of people out so i found out that pickles are v. divisive. to the point where there's a picture of me eating one on facebook because the person thought it was so gross they needed to take a picture:

they tried to take a picture of the "Content: one pickle" thing too but it got all blurry:

Haha it rained on us tonight while we got in a last bit of trick or treating at an open event hosted by the church down the road. I probably mentioned them before recently but we always attend these events even if not of that church or religion. They're all sweet people.

It was pretty funny and strange to see the pastor work his magic on young children. I enjoyed what he said about spending time with family and all that heartwarming biz but then it became "and some of you may not be of the church...but maybe you WANT to be." Managed to get kids to raise their hands as a sign they want to know God more and then he excited them by passing out bibles. They RAN to line up for them as if they were new toys. Amy had no clue what he was saying but just wanted to copy all the other kids so she raised her hand, too, which amused me.

I've never seen those single-packaged pickles in any store over here. Maybe it's a thing in certain regions?

I'm told by in-laws that they are popular in the South. I just happened to spot a box of these at Carl's Jr. and snatched it up.

I dumped all the juice out but it was still just dill juice factory of a pickle.

this thread brings the real pickle talk...pouch variety.

dill is great, but I do enjoy some of the sweeter varieties. not so much bread-n-butter. they strike me as too sweet. we got some mason jars and a recipe and we do a nice pickle/onion combo. delicious.
