deadwood is great

3 episodes left to go. season 3 is definitely a step down. the theater troop stuff is a huge snooze and having alma start using again is pretty predictable. (although the scene where she tries to seduce ellsworth is heart breaking)

really my biggest issue is that this show has really started to overuse the "new character comes to camp, could potentially throw off the balance" thing way too much. by the time wyatt earp comes to town i'm just kind of annoyed and want to see more stories with characters like sol or trixie that they've built up but are doing absolutely nothing with.

holy shit, thanks. my only hesitation in buying it is i don't know how often i would watch the episodes. but for someone who hasn't finished the series like yourself, that's an awesome deal.

man the scene where dan is on the verge of tears trying to get wu to go away without telling about al's kidney stone pops into my head like once a week.

A couple of days ago I finished watching Deadwood for my second time and all the features on my complete blu-ray set. I loved hearing from Boothe on the commentaries and interviews.
