Default You seen any movies recently?

Share your thoughts about them (or it) here.

I've recently watched Captain Marvel on DVD. Didn't see it at the cinema as I hardly ever go there, last time I went to a cinema was to watch Endgame. Captain Marvel was a pretty good movie in my opinion, probably about as good as alot of other non-Avengers MCU films. Feel like it gets far too much criticism. Very underrated. 9/10 from me.

1917

saw it Friday, thoroughly entertained. the shots are memorable and a few I find haunting. pretty intense from the opening scene, until near the end. you know nothing of these characters but for the fringe details that are revealed in small, sincere moments. it impacts with having all the genuine emotions throughout. some moments you find yourself smiling, before being unnerved. only to get teary eyed, but not always at something devastating or overhanded. sometimes at just the circumstances of life and what it has dealt so many.

yeah loved 1917. great film.

most recent film i've seen was The Invisible Man, which I saw a couple of hours after The Lighthouse. Both great.
