i cant find the old thread but are we gonna try to continue this again this year? with spring training getting underway and all these baseball stories on espn im starting to get baseball anxious.

id also like to throw out getting rid of head to head again. and yeah, drafting new members into the league to replace those who dont want to come back.

i am also in favor of going back to roto, which appears to be the general consensus

and since our commissioner died or something, i wouldn't mind volunteering my services to run the league, unless anyone else really, really wants to do it. also, i've always made sure to pay back money i owe to people as soon as possible, so i guarantee the winners would get their money a hell of a lot more quickly than... well, not at all, it appears

@brentmoney, @robb, @smyce, @Mike - please respond by no later than wednesday night, 11:59pm central time with your intent to play or not. if i don't hear anything from any of you in that time (the latter two especially i doubt i'll hear from anyway), i'll give your rosters to one of the others interested in joining, of which we have plenty

as far as you guys who have showed interest in joining for the first time, i'm going on a first post in this thread/first serve basis for assigning new managers. and since quimby mike is out, @Jared, you're in (check yr PM's). @Run CMB, @sung, @hughes, @mikel (IN THAT ORDER), hang tight

for everyone that has already expressed their intent to play, please post your list of 10 keepers by no later than saturday night, 11:59pm central time, and let's narrow it down to 6 by the next saturday night if we can. the sooner we get these steps out of the way, the sooner we can start the draft. it'll be a thread draft like previous years, but it would be nice to set aside at least one night down the road when we can all be online at the same time and knock a few rounds out

those of you who have done this before, you all know the drill, but just to remind everyone: please make it a point to be active throughout the entire season. if you don't think you'll be able to find the time or if you have a premature sense that you'll probably lose interest (for example, like our previous commissioner did last year), don't join

i'll get to dues and the draft order when i know for sure who's playing

and we will be doing roto
