i've been catching up on rosen's podcast and it actually gets worse.

i guess their issues started because she didn't do enough to promote his drink, the MANGRIA (get it, it's a sangria but for MEN!). she's a recovering alcoholic who doesn't drink, but he still basically made her try it so she could talk about it on-air. he then apparently got mad because she tried it before going on air and not actually on-air, despite the fact that making someone drink in that situation is awful enough.

on a lighter note, aside from that stuff her podcast is really fun and delightful and the aukerman episode includes scott doing an odenkirk impression.

i don't really follow the podcast scene as closely as all you guys but i just wanted to chime in and say i tried that mangria shit at a party a couple years ago and it's awful, which is fitting because so is adam carolla

Scott also does a really quick Odenkirk impression on PFT's "Speakeasy" show. The reaction he got from Paul was classic.

spontaneation was a lot of fun, though I'll give anything involving PFT an extra advantage.

Having trouble keeping up with podcasts but "A Lil Dab'll Do Ya" was hilarious, I wish Scott would bust out his shitty characters more often. The Comedy Bang Bang episode with the guy who donated to Kulap's movie was a lot funnier than I thought it'd be. I don't listen to Improv4Humans but the episode with Armen (the Whiplash parody) is one of the funniest podcasts I've ever heard. Seems like Paul F. Tompkins is everywhere lately and I'm still not sick of him for some reason. I miss Harris. ;(

With Scott Aukerman’s episode, I knew he was planning to be play his character, Dabney Coleperson, but I didn’t know that I would be one of my recurring Comedy Bang! Bang! characters until he introduced me.
that's real cool

Can someone explain what is funny about the Marissa Wompler character? I have heard many of the CBB episodes with her and I just don't get it. I never hear her say anything remotely funny. What am I missing? Is it an inside joke or something?

that said womp it up was just okay. that whole pocket of the earwolf universe is definitely suffering from excess backstory at this point and i hope it stops with the endless recapping and starts going in its own direction

edit: and the tom green cbb was just about the worst thing ever. oh god when he derailed the show with 15 minutes on his dead dog...i've never heard character guests struggle so hard to stay afloat before
