Same here. Cooper starts kindergarten in a couple weeks.

Wow kindergarten. I just listened to the radio DJ talk about how parents commonly point out helping their kids with homework as a large source of stress, which is just great since I didn't even like doing MY OWN homework back then. I am wondering how different the material would be nowadays. From what I understand, my little cousins have a different formula for doing math problems (I think specifically for division) and if they don't do it that specific way, they get no credit. Their parents don't understand this math so they can't help at all.

Cooper and I along with a buddy of mine and his daughter teamed up at the library for LEGO Mania. Pics aren't the greatest but we won "Most Creative" in round one and "The One I Like The Most" in round two. Found out they do this at the library once a month and leave all the creations on display in the children's area.

Friend and his daughter provided the house and truck, Cooper the garage and dune buggy, and I did the little plane and tree.

And everyone loved the superhero logos, who knew?

I believe her shirt said girls rule. And that's my friend's daughter, btw. My daughter stayed home, although they did have a few tables with duplo blocks so I'll probably bring Ellie next time.

Having a Wonder Years narration moment, reflecting on pre-children days.

Most of the girls this year were either Elsa or Anna, but they were all pretty jealous of Ellie's boots. Best part was a 2 year old pointing them out to her mother with, 'oooh, zapatos'.

Amy is a fan of The Simpsons to the point of entrancement.

She tried to sing along with the music at the start of the second vid since I do that all the time when watching with her.

Every time people ask Amy's age, they are stunned to hear 2 because "she looks like a 4 year old."

She needs to stop growing so fast.
