Boards and Recreation is a collaborative effort between a staff of multiple people living worldwide. Their mission is to provide you with a frequently updated website and forum offering content & discussion pertaining to entertainment & geek pop culture: topics that they enjoy discussing and feel many others enjoy reading about.
The website traces its routes to nohomers.net, a forum devoted to The Simpsons that was launched in 2001. As that television show’s quality declined, the forum’s off topic community grew until nohomers.net itself became a general discussion community. One decade later, Boards & Rec was launched to give this large community a new home on the web.
